Individual Therapy

It’s a journey for both the patient and the clinician to find out where the patient is at emotionally and mentally. We look at the various factors that affect the patient, which include circumstances that they may not be aware or conscious of. By addressing these roadblocks or issues, you as a patient realize the power you have to negotiate difficult situations.

I have over 27 years of private practice and postgraduate psychoanalytic study but, most importantly, I bring my in intuition, empathy, active engagement, and humanness to create a secure safe environment in which to explore life’s complexities and personal struggles.

Couples & Family Counseling

The recognition of persistent patterns of conflict is the key to their resolution. Respectful and productive communication discourages the destructive pattern of shame and blame. Together you can ask yourselves:

“How does my partner hear me?”
“What does he/she think I am saying?”
“Are we interested in each other’s individual happiness?”

In family therapy, we explore all the relationships within the family.

The Workplace

As one of a select number of counselors on the front lines aiding witnesses to the 9-11 terror attacks and called upon to work with hospital healthcare providers during the height of the Pandemic, I have extensive experience in addressing and counseling groups concerning The Workplace on a variety of different issues.

The three primary workplace issues in which I specialize are Stress Management, Tension in The Workplace and the exceptionally important Critical Incident Counseling.
